What really sets Rummikub apart from other similar games from this genre is the fact that you can use other player's tiles as well, if they are on the board. And, of course, they can also use yours. This really adds an element of unpredictability to Rummikub, and it really increases the challenge, but also the fun. It's really fun to be able to score points with everything that is on the table. There could be times when you are stuck and you can't make any valid moves, but one of the other players places some tiles on the board, which give you a shot to reenter the game. If you really can't make any moves when it's your turn, you can always get a new tile from the stack, and hope that it's something that you can use. Or, if you get really lucky, you can get the Joker tile, that can act as a substitute for any other tile. But remember, your opponents can also make use of this special tile.
